Our Three Little Pigs Garden!
February 22, 2013 | By webadmin
We posted a photo diary not to long ago to show you how we set up an entire landscape installation at The Great Big Texas Home Show at Cowboy Stadium. It's pretty amazing! Now, we thought you'd like to get a little preview into our new garden installation for the 2013 show. Of course, we can't show you any photos yet, but we can tell you the story...
In the story of the “Three Little Pigs”, we learn how good building materials make all the difference! When you enter our “Three Little Pigs Garden”, you’ll discover a series of three pocket patios, each with features reflective of their own little piggy’s style. Using a variety of hardscape materials, we’ll show you how they can be used in your landscape. We’ll create soft and open structural features, using natural elements like straw thatch and twig fencing, as well as frame open views with exposed steel beams. Each pocket patio will be complemented with garden furniture of similar materials. Extensive brickwork and cedar framing evoke images of the last little pig’s sturdy brick house. Complete with outdoor cooking, kitchen garden and apple trees...you know, for finishing off that pesky wolf! Our sturdy hardscape features are complemented by a bevy of Texas SuperstarTM perennials, shrubs and trees to create a beautiful yet low-maintenance landscape.
While we're working with a Fairy Tale theme for the show, we're also creating a landscape and features that will realistically translate into your own back yard. Come visit us at the show and we can talk about your project or design need and how best we can help you. Be sure to check out our Facebook page where we just gave away five pairs of tickets for entry to the show. Check back with us on our FB page next week because we just might have a few more to give away!
