Want a healthy summer lawn? Don’t miss the June feeding!

What happens to your landscape when you don’t feed it?

A lawn and landscape that is starved for nutrients won’t thrive…no matter how much water you put on it. Your hungry plants will show stress, have poor root growth, fewer blooms and probably succumb to more pests and diseases. Plants will be less able to take up the water you give them. Just like you and I, plants need food to survive and thrive!

Are you on our organic landscape maintenance plan?

June is the month we apply organic fertilizer to lawns and landscape to improve root growth in preparation for our hot Texas summer. The liquid feed we apply also stimulates important microbial activity in the soil to increase healthy micro-organisms that help to turn our tough, clay soil into a healthy place for plant roots to establish.

Healthy plants start with healthy soil and June’s application of enzymatic cold-processed fish, bio-stimulant, worm castings and micronutrients offers up a healthy diet for both soil and plants!

Feeding your lawn on your own?

An acidified lawn fertilizer in June will make it easier for your grass to take up nutrients during the heat. Proper feeding and watering in both spring and fall will help lawns fight off heat stress through summer. If you have a lawn maintenance crew caring for your landscape, be sure they are properly feeding your turf, trees and gardens.
