Happy New Year! What are Your Landscape Resolutions?

December 29, 2014 | By webadmin

It’s that time of year! The holiday buzz is coming to an end we’re getting ready for 2015. As we reflect on the past year, we’re of course making resolutions for the new year to eat better, exercise more, spend more time relaxing and less time stressing. But what sort of landscaping resolutions are we making? If you’re looking to relax more and stress less, perhaps its time to putting your landscape to work for you.

When making your list of house-to-dos this year, how about adding that relaxing stone patio or pergola you’ve always dreamed of? A patio fireplace or even an outdoor kitchen can help transform your patio into a haven for entertaining. Summers getting too hot to bear? A contemporary pool with low-maintenance plantings or faux turf can make your backyard your very own personal vacation destination.

Here are some tips for making your landscape more enjoyable in 2015

  • Save more water in 2015 by repairing or renovating your automatic irrigation system to save water, plus adding a rainbarrel.  link to irrigation post
  • Eat your landscape in 2015! Add herbs and vegetables into your garden among the ornamentals and perennials. Edibles also make beautiful ornamentals.
  • Keep your lawn and landscape tidy, properly fed, and healthier by adding on our year-round maintenance program. Never have to worry about mulch and fertilizer again! We’ll take care of it for you. We can even customize an organic maintenance plan for you.
  • Entertain outdoors with your custom outdoor kitchen or patio grill. Investing in your landscape is always a great investment. Outdoor kitchens are a great way to extend the living space of your home, it’s property value and your outdoor entertaining fun!

Start gathering photos of all your favorite places, color and styles you’d want to incorporate into your outdoor design.
